Explore the range and diversity of our research by engaging with the researchers who are at the heart of new discoveries

The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase will take place on Thursday, 16 June 2022 (10.30am-2pm), followed by the MDC Excellence Awards (4pm-5:30pm), in Whitworth Hall and Christie's Bistro.

The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) is a spectacular celebration of postgraduate research from across the University. Hosted by Research Degrees and Researcher Development and Manchester Doctoral College, it brings together researchers from all three faculties to create a unique environment in which to foster interdisciplinary networking and the communication and sharing of ideas.

Researchers will display their work on posters and be on hand to engage with visitors. There will also be a showcase of the finalists from the 2022 Image competition capturing their “Research in Action,” an exhibition space and free house plants from Plant and Hope.    

Prizes will be awarded to the best posters and images at the MDC Excellence Awards immediately following the showcase. The awards are an annual celebration of postgraduate research excellence.
