IT Maintenance and downtime in June and July

During June and July, IT Services are performing maintenance on several systems which will have an impact on access to certain services.
- Saturday 11 June: As previously mentioned , an upgrade to one of the University’s network storage services means that P drives, some shared drives, Library and Whitworth Art Gallery Electronic Collections, and the Electronic Software Delivery Service will be unavailable for part of the day.
- Wednesday 22 June: An upgrade to University infrastructure means that there will be campus-wide network downtime after 6pm for approximately 15 minutes. This will affect all services connected to the campus network, including (but not limited to) Wi-Fi and wired network, IT login, GlobalProtect VPN, Duo, University websites, My Manchester, remote access and more.
- Saturday 25 June: Disruption to Research Data Storage (CSF3, CSF4, iCSF, Condor and the Research IT Virtual Machine platform) from 8am. Work is only expected to take one hour, however please allow until the end of the day for testing and other work to formally complete. Read more on the Research Infrastructure website.
