Timetable Project – Staff open meeting
01 Jun 2022
An open meeting for staff to ask questions and share their views about our new timetabling process and Policy, taking place on Wednesday, 15 June, 2.00pm – 3.00pm.
The Timetable Project is working to deliver more effective timetabling for our students and staff by improving our Timetable Policy and timetabling processes.
We’re pleased to share that the latest draft version of our new Timetable Policy has just been provisionally approved by Senate. We will share the Policy at the meeting, or you can view it in advance of the meeting on our StaffNet site.
We want to thank both academic and PS staff who have contributed to the Policy so far. We want to hear your suggestions of any ways in which we can improve the Policy further before it goes to Senate for final approval in October 2022.
This open meeting is an opportunity for you to find out more about the Project and our progress so far from our Academic Lead, Steve Pettifer, as well as having the chance to put your questions to Steve and the rest of the panel.
The panel will include:
- Professor Steve Pettifer, Academic Lead, Timetable Project
- Paul Brierley, Business Lead, Timetable Project
- Polly Betts, Project Manager, Timetable Project
We want to thank all academic staff for supporting the Timetable Project to date. By completing our Timetabling Priorities Survey and responding to a request to formalise any existing flexible working arrangements you have already played a key role in our progress.
- Book your place via Eventbrite (Places are limited to 300 people)
You can ask questions either before the session, during registration or live at the event.
For those unable to attend, the session will be live-streamed. Simply visit the StaffNet homepage on the day to watch.
Please note, the Zoom link will be circulated prior to the event via email to those who have registered.
