Stellify Award deadlines approaching
25 May 2022
The Stellify Award is our most prestigious extra-curricular award available for all undergraduate students
We need your help to encourage final year undergraduate students to complete Stellify Award activities before Tuesday, 31 May. Some students may not realise that they only have a couple of activities remaining to achieve it, but there’s still time! Help us spread the word by sharing the requirements with our final year students.
To achieve the Stellify Award, a student must complete three main elements:
- Two out of three Ethical Grand Challenges - students need to complete any two of the three Ethical Grand Challenges to achieve the “Understanding the Issues that Matter” component of the award. They can complete the Sustainability Challenge, Social Justice Challenge and Workplace Ethics Challenge until Tuesday, 31 May 2022. Each online activity takes only around an hour to complete.
- 25 hours of volunteering (which benefits the wider community) - the total number of community-facing volunteering hours needed to complete the “Make a Difference” component of the award remains at 25 hours. The deadline for these to be recorded on Volunteer Hub (or in the case of SPORT volunteering on Volunteer Kinetic) is Tuesday, 31 May 2022. Students can still build up their hours in time by volunteering from home or attending a Volunteer Day.
- Two approved leadership roles (or the same role for two years) - students should have already completed two leadership roles (or the same role for two years) to achieve the “Step Up and Lead” part of the award.
