Events will take place week commencing Monday, 4 April
All staff are invited to attend a week of events marking World Autism Awareness Day (2 April) starting on Monday, 4 April based around the experiences of autistic staff and students at our University and in Higher Education more broadly.
This series of events is co-produced by the Disability Advisory and Support Service (DASS) and the Students’ Union.
Professor April McMahon, Vice-President for Teaching, Learning and Students, said:
“I welcome these opportunities to understand more about the lived experiences of our autistic students and staff, as we strive to become a more inclusive environment for everyone. Please join the events as we keep learning together!”
