New one-team approach to ensure we deliver programmes and facilities collaboratively
Following our recent review of how UoM Sport can best meet the needs of students, staff and local community, we are making some changes to our organisational structures and job descriptions.
We are establishing a one-team approach to ensure we have efficient and effective systems and structures that deliver programmes and facilities collaboratively.
This will align with the wider HE and Sport sector, creating a proactive and reactive service to our customers; provide a more positive student experience; increase the level of skills and responsibilities in key identified areas; establish clear lines of responsibility across the whole department, with a focus on career progression at all levels.
The University recognises that this is a difficult and anxious time for those staff in affected areas and would like to thank them for their professionalism and patience. All the changes were given very careful and serious consideration and are designed to bring benefits to both the organisation and the team.
We are committed to on-going, meaningful engagement with colleagues at all levels and will continue to give the team our full support as we work to deliver the strategic vision for UoM Sport.
