Creative Manchester Poetry Competition 2022
21 Mar 2022
Creative Manchester, in partnership with the Centre for New Writing and the Great Science Share for Schools, is running a Micropoetry competition themed around ‘Climate Change’
The competition launched on World Poetry Day – Monday 21 March 2022 – and ends on the longest day of the year, Tuesday 21 June 2022.
Can you express yourself creatively in 280 characters? Participants are invited to write a micropoem themed around climate change to publish on Twitter using the hashtag #micropoem22. Maybe you can include the oceans, seasons, animals, sustainable energy or environmental protection? The possibilities are endless. You may also want to take inspiration from the pioneering interdisciplinary research taking place at the University, brought together through colleagues in the research platform, Sustainable Futures | The University of Manchester.
