Our live Purple wave events are back face to face!
Run, walk or jog 2.5k or 5k and build yourself up for the big event in May. On the 9th March at Platt Fields we are hosting the first PurpleWave event of 2022. Book club
The next meeting of the book club is Friday, 25 February, 12.30pm – 1.30pm.This month’s book is ‘The Japanese Lover’ by Isabel Allende. We will also spend some time at the start of the meeting discussing January’s book 'Piranesi’ by Susanna Clarke. Do you want to join in the book loving conversation between meetings? Prostate cancer has been in the news recently. According to NHS England data released this week, prostate cancer accounts for a third of those not treated for cancer compared to before the pandemic. Prostate Cancer UK is a great source of support.
