Postgraduate Course Development - Environment and Sustainable Development
22 May 2007
Are you of Indian or Chinese origin and/or have you worked in either country?
The University of Manchester and the Open University have forged an alliance with the aim of developing and delivering a number of innovative joint degree programmes designed for global markets.
The first of these is now at the market evaluation stage and we are consulting with a wide range of stakeholders to gain as much intelligence as possible.
The programme under review is in the field of Sustainability and the Environment and would lead to a Masters degree. We are focussing at this stage on India and China but feel that the course will have wider appeal.
We have engaged a specialist education research agency (The Knowledge Partnership) to gather the intelligence and they would like to engage with staff at the two universities as part of the evaluation process.
If you are of Chinese or Indian origin and/or have studied or worked in either country and/or have a passionate interest in environmental issues, we would be grateful if you could spare five minutes to provide some feedback.
