Dover Street road closure

27 Jan 2022

The closure will allow construction work to take place

As part of the construction of the Pankhurst Institute behind the former NatWest bank on Oxford Road, the western end of Dover Street will close to all traffic between Portsmouth Street and Oxford Road on Monday, 31 January with preparations taking place over the weekend 29/30 January. The closure will be in place until the later end of the construction programme in August/September.

Access for deliveries to the rear of Simon building and other properties in the area will be maintained. Grafton Street will be the primary diversion route for access to Burlington Street.

The Directorate of Estates and Facilities apologises for any inconvenience caused while these essential works are carried out.
