Get involved in our plans for a week-long programme of events
Dear colleagues
International Women’s Day is on 8 March this year, and we would like to organise a week of events for colleagues to participate in. Many colleagues will already have planned events, and we would be happy to promote them across our University to maximise attendance.
The week will hopefully include the following:
- Keynote speakers
- A panel Q&A session
- A presentation and discussion on the emerging People and Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategies
- A PechaKucha session
- Showcasing research from our amazing women academics
- Sharing an update on our Charter Marks
- A menopause café
- Development opportunities
- Official launch of our University's Women’s Network
If you would like to facilitate a session or be involved in the planning, please email equalityanddiversity@manchester.ac.uk
The full list of events will be published in the week commencing 7 February 2022.
Best wishes
Adèle MacKinlay, Director of People and Organisational Development
Banji Adewumi, Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
