Update on Giving Tuesday, our Vivup benefits platform, Christmas shopping weekend at Jodrell Bank, wellbeing and Christmas appeals
#GivingTuesday
Tuesday 30 December was Giving Tuesday, the international day of giving. On that day Fabienne Clough from Shelter joined us to talk about the work they do to support people affected by the housing emergency across Manchester and how your donations via our payroll giving scheme over the past 12 months make a difference in their work.
Your giving during the past 12 months has been exceptional. In the last 12 months (1 Nov 2020 - 31 Oct 2021) over £145,627.55 alone has been donated to great causes. This is the highest 12 month total since the payroll giving scheme relaunched in 2014.
The most popular charities being supported by the Payroll Giving Scheme include Shelter, Oxfam, Unicef UK, WaterAid, Cancer Research UK, RSPCA, Save the Children Fund, Macmillan Cancer Support, RSPCA and Street Support Network. Read more on the Giving Tuesday page.
