White Ribbon Day
22 Nov 2021
Campaign to end violence against women starts on Thursday, 25 November
Our University is supporting White Ribbon Day, a campaign to end violence against women that starts on Thursday, 25 November and runs for 16 days.
Organisers are asking people in their communities, organisations and workplaces to come together, and say ‘no’ to violence against women.
As well as supporting the campaign, we’re reminding colleagues that help and support for anyone of any gender suffering from domestic violence or coercion is available from our University.
Our People and Organisational Development Director, Adèle MacKinlay said: “There is no place for violence against women, or any person in our community. Our University is proud to help and support victims, be they our staff or students, and to back this vital campaign to bring people together to call it out, give support and put an end to it.”
