Learn, Lead, Progress: Resources and opportunities for your development
03 Nov 2021
Your continuous development is essential to our future success as a University
We hope that everyone can find opportunities to develop themselves through learning, networking, reflection, feedback and trying new ways of doing things.
Before we move on to the next theme in our campaign - ‘Progress’, we are revisiting our ‘Learn’ theme as a reminder of the range of programmes and resources to support your personal development. We have highlighted some below.
Staff Learning and Development are pleased to offer another year of short courses and programmes through our Learning for All calendar. This is a range of facilitated, blended workshops across a number of topics. Access details on the courses available and book your place.
Some of our upcoming courses include:
- Managing Conflict in Teams
- Project Management - Practitioner Level
- Managing Hybrid Working Successfully
- Growing Your Team’s Performance
- Career Development Workshop
Through the Staff L&D pages, you will also find a selection of online platforms and resources to further your self-directed learning. These can all be accessed by all our staff. The resources range from bite-sized video tips, all the way to full-length online courses.
The University is committed to supporting your career development through our further and higher education scheme. This scheme is now open again and you can find more information on the Staff L&D FE/HE Funding Scheme pages.
- Please keep an eye out for the next theme in our Campaign, which will be Progress. In the meantime, have a look at our SL&D webpages and join the conversation on our Yammer.
