Making hybrid work inclusive – focus groups
14 Oct 2021
We want to ensure that our implementation of hybrid work is as inclusive as possible
We are therefore planning to hold a number of focus groups for staff. Some of these will be open to all and will consider inclusion in all forms. Some of the focus groups will focus on specific staff groups, such as those who have caring responsibilities, working parents and staff with disabilities.
This first set of focus groups will be an opportunity for us to discuss, learn together and create solutions and tangible actions to support the inclusion of hybrid work.
If you would like to take part please book via the Staff Learning and Development calendar.
Dates available:
- Tuesday, 9 November, 10am-11.30am (all staff)
- Thursday, 11 November, 11am-12.30pm (carers)
- Wednesday, 17 November, 2pm-3.30pm (working parents)
- Monday, 22 November, 10am-11.30am (disabled staff)
- Wednesday, 1 December, 11am-12.30pm (all staff)
We plan to hold further workshops next year. The feedback, learnings and outcomes of these workshops will be shared on StaffNet in the future. They will also feed into our Equality Impact Assessment on hybrid work.
- If you cannot attend any of these workshops but would like to attend a future one, please email hybrid@manchester.ac.uk
