Nominate a colleague for a Distinguished Achievement Award, 2022

17 Dec 2021

Faculties and all members of staff are invited to nominate individuals or teams at the 2022 Distinguished Achievement Awards

University

You can nominate a colleague in the Professional Services and Cultural Institutions, and General Distinguished Achievement Award categories.

If you know someone in Professional Services (PS), Museum, Gallery or at the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre, who is always willing to put in that bit extra to get a job done; who always provides an excellent service or goes out of their way to help someone or solve a problem, why not put them forward for a President’s Distinguished Achievement Award so that they know they are appreciated?

We’re looking to recognise and celebrate those special people who work tirelessly to do their jobs well, perhaps in very trying circumstances due to the pandemic or for other reasons.

General category of the Distinguished Achievement Awards

The General category is to be used only on very rare occasions when the other categories of awards are not appropriate. In such cases a member or staff, a student, lay member of the Board of Governors or close affiliate of the University can be nominated. The General category is designed to recognise sustained and/or exceptional service to the University which is over and above what it normally expected of someone as part of their job, role or course.
