Support available ahead of BBC2 documentary, Catching a Predator (Wednesday, 6 October at 9pm)
Helplines are available to people affected by the case of serial rapist Reynhard Sinaga ahead of the BBC2 documentary, Catching a Predator (Wednesday, 6 October at 9pm).
The documentary details the police operation to apprehend former University student Sinaga, now serving a minimum of 40 years in jail after being found guilty of committing 159 counts of sexual offences against 48 different men.
Members of our University have been directly and indirectly impacted by his actions. For anyone who wishes to seek support but does not want to talk to police, the St Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre can reached on 0161 276 6515 24 hours a day. Survivors Manchester can be contacted on 0161 236 2182.
Support is also available through the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Major Incident Public Portal.
GMP continue to urge people who believe they may have been a victim of Sinaga to come forward. All reports made to police will be fully investigated. Information can be passed to police by calling 101 or via their Major Incident Public Portal.
