Essential Upgrade to Windows 10 for all University Windows 7 Devices

Staff using University Windows 7 desktop computers (PCs) and laptops are now being asked to ensure these devices are up to date and secure by upgrading them to Windows 10.

If you have a Windows 7 desktop computer (PC) or laptop, you now need to upgrade to Windows 10. This will ensure all University computers are operating with robust data security and the latest functionality.

How to upgrade

IT Services will email all known Windows 7 device owners.

  • If you have already requested an upgrade, you will need to respond by following the link to request a date.
  • If you haven’t yet requested an upgrade, you will need to complete the form to request a date.

Please note, all University Windows 7 devices need to be upgraded to Windows 10 before the deadline on Friday 10 December 2021.
