Issues accessing University services

There were issues accessing University systems and services early on the morning of Friday 3 September 2021, affecting both staff and students. These issues are now believed resolved.
If you’re still having problems and a computer reboot does not resolve it please contact the IT Support Centre (call 0161 306 5544 or use the Support Portal) to log a ticket and IT Services will investigate.
Connectivity issues arose due to a problem in the University’s data centres, starting around 6am. A network engineer attended campus to resolve the issue and most services are now back online. Work continues to take place on a service by service basis and we will monitor for the rest of the day.
