Applications are invited from academic, academic related or research staff of the University of Manchester for the post of Assistant Warden at Woolton Hall.
Assistant Wardens work as part of the welfare support team in each residence. Duties include assisting in the pastoral care of residents, working with the Junior common room or Residents Association, and helping to foster a community spirit of living among students. Applicants should be sociable and interested in student affairs. They should also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skill and experience of team-working.
The post is available shortly, and in the first instance until 31 August 2007. A superannuable and taxable honorarium is attached to the post.
