Share your views on using Microsoft 365 and Teams

Colleagues and students from across the University are invited to complete two surveys aimed at creating a programme of training, development and support to help everyone benefit from the use of Microsoft 365.
The IT Modernisation Programme is reviewing the use of Microsoft 365 (MS365) - including MS Teams, Windows 10 and OneDrive - which was deployed rapidly last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipated there would be gaps in training, development and support and are planning to address these gaps via a new project called MS365 Adoption.
To start the MS365 Adoption project, we are inviting colleagues and students from across the University to take part in the MS365 User Survey, and the MS Teams for Teaching and Learning Survey.
The purpose of the MS365 User Survey is to understand your current user experience, alongside your future requirements, and to underpin flexible working and secure collaboration. It has been designed to provide valuable insights into the next steps required to enable staff, postgraduate researchers and students to get the most out of MS365. It will also complement our University’s move to Flexible Learning and Hybrid Working.
Bespoke survey to support the adoption of MS Teams for Teaching and Learning
The MS365 project team are collaborating with eLearning colleagues to understand the experience and requirements for MS Teams within Teaching and Learning. Hamza Badenjiki, Learning Technologist in Humanities Teaching and Learning Support Services, has created the MS Teams for Teaching and Learning Survey to support Teaching and Learning requirements. The results from this will also feed into the overall MS365 review.
How will the survey data be used?
The results of both surveys will be combined with other feedback to strengthen the quality and range of information we have. Several projects will then be created to deliver changes designed to improve usage and adoption. Your contribution will give you the opportunity to shape how MS365 will be used in your area and across the University in the future.
