Update following CPS decision regarding the incident at Fallowfield, 14 November

Statement

‘We have been informed that the charges against two security guards have been reduced from racially aggravated assault to common assault with regards to the allegations around the events in Fallowfield of 14 November 2020.

‘As is usual, our internal processes remain paused until the outcome of the legal case.

‘Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, we are unable to comment further.’
