Applicants are invited from academic, academic related or research staff or postgraduate students of The University of Manchester for a Tutor post at Linton House.
Tutors work as part of the welfare support team in Linton House. Duties include assisting in the pastoral care of residents, working the Residents Association and helping to foster a community spirit.
Applicants should be sociable and interested in student affairs. They should also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and experience of team-working.
Tutors will be required to be on call during the night and at weekends at regular intervals.
Remuneration is given to Tutors in the form of free accommodation. The position is available shortly and the appointment in the first instance will be till August 2007.
