Pint of Science is a grassroots non-profit organisation that has grown astronomically over the few years since two people decided to share their research in the pub
This year's festival takes place online from 17-20 May with a series of shows from UK cities including Manchester.
The Manchester organising committee will host three shows:
The Universe's Particle Zoo!

From particle physics to astronomy, join us to discover the mysterious particle zoo that governs everything, from the most spectacular solar explosions to the very floor you stand on.

Rise of Robots

Over the past 20 years robots have slowly been making their way into our every day lives, whether it be working in factories, self-driving cars making the roads safer and even vacuuming away those pesky pet hairs. It is evident robots are here to stay. Join our show to learn more about the Sony Aibo robot dog, LOVOT and a spectacular robot orchestra!
