£75,000 will be awarded to students and graduates with early-stage business ideas

The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre is delighted to invite you to The University of Manchester's Venture Further Awards 2021 - an annual celebration for student business start-up, taking place on Wednesday, 05 May 2021.

Venture Further is the UK’s top University-led enterprise competition, which encourages students and recent graduates from across The University of Manchester to develop a business idea and make it a reality. The finalists in each category - Environmental, Healthcare, Services, Social, and Technology - have been selected on the basis of the business proposal judged to have the most chance of success and the winner in each category will receive a £10,000 prize.

The University is excited to welcome Vikas Shah MBE as the host for the evening. Vikas is a serial-entrepreneur, investor, thinker and educator who has built businesses in diverse sectors around the world for almost 20 years. He is a business consultant and advisor to numerous entrepreneurs and organisations globally.

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the in-person award ceremony at Whitworth Hall will not be taking place however, the team have worked hard to develop this alternative online event, which will ensure that the finalists will still receive the recognition they deserve.

We hope you will be able to tune in at 5pm on the day to celebrate the achievements of the finalists and to show your support for student and graduate enterprise and entrepreneurship at The University of Manchester.
