Sir Gus O'Donnell, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Home Civil Service, will be visiting the University on 23 March and will be presenting the following talk:

Civil Service - the way forward
 
from 12.15pm to 1.45pm in Whitworth Hall.
 
Attendance is free - all welcome.
 
This is a pivotal moment for the UK Civil Service. The state faces key challenges - security, migration, the environment, citizen expectations. How can the Civil Service respond effectively to these challenges and opportunities? How can reform go further?
