Easter car parking arrangements and Charles Street Car Park three-day closure

Important information regarding car parking on campus over the Easter period
Charles Street Multi-Storey Car Park (Car Park A)
Charles Street multi-storey car park will be closed from 6am on Tuesday, 30 March 2021 until 6am on Friday, 2 April 2021 while security improvements are carried out. Permit holders who require parking on these dates need to email carparking@manchester.ac.uk as soon as possible, and no later than 3pm on Friday, 26 March 2021, to arrange alternative parking.
The car park will reopen from 6am on Friday, 2 April 2021, with the barriers locked in the open position over the Easter closure period. Barriers will be lowered from 6am on Wednesday, 7 April 2021 when regular parking resumes.
Booth Street West Multi-Storey Car Park (Car Park D)
Booth St West multi-storey car park will be closed from midnight on Wednesday, 31 March 2021, reopening at 6am on Wednesday, 7 April 2021. Permit holders wishing to park during this period should use alternative parking at Cecil or Dilworth Street car parks.
Cecil Street and Dilworth Street Car Parks (Car Parks E and F)
The barriers at Cecil Street and Dilworth Street car parks will remain in the open position to allow free access and exit over the Easter closure period.
Dover Street Car Park (Car Park G)
The barriers at Dover Street car park will remain in the open position during the Easter period, but we advise that only regular permit holders use this area due to the ongoing project works taking place within the car park.
Aquatics Car Park (Car Park B)
The Aquatics Centre car park will be open as normal.
All Other Barriers
The barriers at Bridgeford Street, Burlington Street, Devas Street, AQA, Chemistry, University Place, all North Campus and Thorncliffe House will be left in normal operation mode throughout the closure period and control passes to Security within the PCR.
