Trade Union meeting update

Message from Karen Heaton, Director of Human Resources

Dear colleagues

We held the latest of our meetings with the campus trade unions on Wednesday, 10 February.  These meetings focus on the proposed measures our University needs to take to ensure we deliver our core goals, given the threats to our financial sustainability which have been exacerbated by the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the spirit of open and transparent communication, we are publishing the minutes from both our weekly negotiating meeting with the trade unions and a COVID-19 update meeting which takes place with the trade unions fortnightly on Wednesdays.

Minutes are approved at the next available meeting, so there will be at least a one week delay between meetings taking place and the minutes being approved and published.
