Our Hospitality team sends students home with a smile

Students in University-catered Halls were treated to Christmas formals.

Students gathered in their household bubbles to enjoy a festive feast before many leave to journey home for the Christmas holiday. 

The halls were decked with Christmas decorations and Christmas carols playing in the background got everyone in the spirit of Christmas. A festive glass of bubbles greeted the students on arrival and they dined on home cooked traditional Christmas fayre.

Assistant Director of Estates and Facilities, Alison Shedlock said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer the students a festive evening before many of them leave on their journey home for the Christmas holiday after what has been a difficult Semester.

“We’ve already had some wonderful feedback as a hospitality team and we’re glad to send the students home with a smile.”
