Help our students raise charity funds through 24 hour run
13 Nov 2020
The Manchester 24 Hour Run is returning (virtually) on 18-19 November, with the ambitious target of raising over £3,000 for A Bed Every Night, a scheme run by the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity
Although the in-person event cannot go ahead as planned due to coronavirus restrictions, you can now take part from anywhere in the world. Just go for a run or walk at any time during the 24 hours (12 noon to 12 noon) and submit your GPS activity on our website to have your distance counted towards the total. We aim to cover a total of 1,407km, the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats.
A Bed Every Night provides a bed, warm welcome, and personal support for anyone who is sleeping rough or at imminent risk of sleeping rough in Greater Manchester.
The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity is an independent charity supported and endorsed by the Mayor, Andy Burnham, with the aim of making a positive difference to major social issues we face, including rough sleeping.
