Friday 23 February, 1pm-2.30pm

In the Wellbeing Room, Dover Street Building, Dover Street

  • Can food really affect my mood?
  • How does food affect mood?
  • What's the psychological relationship?
  • How do I find out if food is affecting my mood?
  • What should I look for in my diet?
  • Which foods affect which moods?
  • Which foods do I need to eat in order to feel well?
  • How can I go about changing my diet?

This workshop is an opportunity to gain information and advice about how food and nutrition can significantly affect your mental and emotional health. It explains which food can cause problems, which foods can help, why and how to change your diet for the better. Many people are seeking to take control of their emotional and psychological wellbeing using self-help. One self-help strategy is to make changes to what we eat, and there is a growing interest in how food and nutrition can affect emotional and mental health.

A fully qualified nutritionist will give a brief talk as well as providing information sheets and some brief individual advice.
