Prosper PI Network Meeting
02 Nov 2020
Principal Investigators and their managers are invited to network meeting with UKRI on Tuesday, 17 November
Principal Investigators are invited to join a special session of the Prosper PI network on Tuesday 17 November 2020, 11.00 – 12.00 pm to discuss how PIs’ support of postdocs is valued, recognised and encouraged.
The session will provide the opportunity to:
- Hear from Ellen Meek (Senior Talent Programme Manager, UKRI) and Nikolay Ogryzko (Talent Programme Manager, R&I careers policy at UKRI) on the Researcher Development Concordat with respect to how good PI support for postdocs could be encouraged.
- Share how your support of postdocs is recognised at your institution and how this could be changed or improved.
- Network with PIs not only across disciplines but institutions, as we bring together PIs and managers of researchers from the University of Liverpool, University of Manchester and Lancaster University.
PIs at all levels are welcome to participate, along with anyone who line-manages a postdoc or hopes to employ a postdoc in the future to come along.
