Colleagues from all three Faculties win Government funding for their research tackling major challenges
Four University colleagues have been awarded UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Future Leaders Fellowships.
They are among 101 research and innovation leaders of the future to receive government funding for their research, to tackle major challenges ranging from cancer treatment to space travel and reducing harmful vehicle emissions.
They are:
- Dr Matthew Birket, School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health;
- Dr Sarah Marie Hall, School of Environment, Education and Development, Faculty of Humanities;
- Dr Sarah Louise Lovelock, School of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering;
- Dr Jonathan Skelton, School of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering.
