Ahead of World Menopause Day a special session on Brain Fog and the Menopause
Are you struggling to remember things, lack focus or feel like your head is full of cotton wool? You’re not alone, this is a very common symptom of menopause and particularly affects busy women during their 40s and 50s.
Join expert Julie Robinson from MenoHealth for top tips on coping with brain fog and enjoy a short practical demo on how to improve your posture whether sitting or standing at your desk along with some simple exercises for your neck, shoulders and back.
The session takes place via Zoom on Thursday 15th October at 12:30 – 13:00.
Julie Robinson is the founder of MenoHealth. This is a unique, endorsed training programme delivered by a national network of MenoLeaders empowering women to take control of menopause. MenoHealth sessions, which can be delivered online, in community and workplace settings, include peer to peer support, information and exercise specifically aimed at improving health and wellness through menopause and beyond.
Julie has spent her career helping women to stay active and healthy, formerly as a PE teacher, then running a women’s dance and fitness club, through to establishing Move it or Lose it, an award-winning training company helping older people to enjoy active, happier lives. She has authored a book, ‘Stay Fit for Life’, writes as a fitness expert for three women’s magazines and regularly contributes to radio and TV (See a MenoClass in action on BBC One )
In 2019, Julie won the Women and Home magazine ‘Inspirational Women’ award for her voluntary work having raised over £1million for the Breast Cancer Now charity.
