Wine, dine and wear red for heart health on 24 March 2007
The University of Manchester, Division of Cardiovascular Studies is organising a charity event.
We would like to invite you to come and dine in the fabulous surroundings of the Manchester Suite at Manchester United FC, at our Charity Red Ball on Saturday 24 March 2007.
The evening will commence at 7pm with a champagne reception and a balloon raffle, at which you will have the opportunity of winning some sensational prizes. This will be followed by a sumptuous four-course meal with coffee accompanied by classical music.
After dinner, an auction will take place giving you the chance to bid for some unique lots, including art work by local artist Rosana Ibarrola, pampering packages in top Manchester hotels and sports memorabilia, amongst others.
The theme of the Red Ball is heart health which links in with passion and shall be reflected in the evening's entertainment provided by the Cuban jazz band, 'Mojito'.
In keeping with the theme of the night we would like you to wear at least one item of red clothing.
Tickets for this night of pure indulgence are priced at £60 each or £550 for a table of 10.
If you require further information and contact details regarding this event, or are interested in purchasing tickets, please contact us by one of the following means:
- Visit our Charity Red Ball website
- Alternatively, email us at charityredball@yahoo.co.uk and we will endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible
- Or telephone Laura James, Aysha Khan or Avni Vyas on 0161 275 1228
All profits from the event will be donated to British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK which are two charities that are heavily involved in supporting both clinical care and research, such as ours, in the area of heart health. Without this support we would not be able to carry on with some of the important studies we are doing.
