Free blood pressure checks
01 Feb 2007
Available from Occupational Health on Wednesday 7 February
Why get your blood pressure checked?
Everyone should get their blood pressure checked regularly since undetected and untreated high blood pressure is the major cause of stroke, heart attack and heart disease. More than 16 million people in the UK have high blood pressure - but one in three are unaware of it as there are often no obvious symptoms.
Free blood pressure checks take place between 11am and 1.30pm on Wedneday 7 February at Occupational Health in The Mill, Sackville Street Area of the campus.
