Virtual IAG and enrichment resources for teachers and advisors

Helping teachers access our vital IAG and academic enrichment support online
Since March, the Student Recruitment and Widening Participation team, now part of the Division of Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment, has been collating links to virtual academic enrichment and IAG (information, advice and guidance) resources for teachers and advisors on.
The resources include workshops, lectures and Why Study? presentations created by University of Manchester academics, our Widening Participation Fellows, and student ambassadors. The resources are a mix of existing material and new presentations and workshops recorded to ensure teachers, advisors and their pupils still have access to vital IAG and subject enrichment support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quick access to these resources remains essential with schools and colleges due to reopen, but unlikely to be able to engage in field trips and visit days for a while. The pages have been warmly received by teachers who are keen to ensure they maintain a link with the University during the pademic.
