University becomes a member of Women's Higher Education Network (WHEN)
21 Jul 2020
WHEN is a national network for all self-identifying women and non-binary people working in higher education which aims to speed up gender equality
WHEN brings together its members from across the sector, empowering them to advance their careers and break down barriers that inhibit them from reaching their full potential.
Our University takes gender equality very seriously and we are continually seeking out practices and opportunities that we can embrace to help accelerate gender equality. We see WHEN as one of those opportunities and by becoming an institutional member we intend to join in the movement to speed up gender equality for the benefit of all our staff.
By becoming an institutional partner of WHEN, we have secured a limited number of codes for free personal membership. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis by emailing Sarah Mohammad-Qureshi (s.mohammad-2@manchester.ac.uk) in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team. If you miss out on a free code, you can become a member for £25.00 (free if you sign up to an event, such as their annual conference on 27 July 2020).
