Make 2007 your year to get fit and healthy
The University offer a range of health, fitness and well-being courses for staff and students across the campus at reduced rates. There are 46 enrolment courses - meaning you sign up for eight consecutive weeks. Enrolment courses take place in everything from Come Dancing to Core Stability and from Street Dance to Shiatsu massage. The advantage of enrolment courses are that you get to learn an activity and progress as the course goes on. Pre-payment could also provide the incentive to keep going!
If you are unable to commit to an eight week enrolment course, why not join one of over 40 pay-as-you-go fitness classes? Try Bums and Tums at the Armitage Centre or Circuit Training at the Sugden Centre.
All enrolment courses start week commencing 29 January and last for eight weeks. Pay-as-you-go classes at the Armitage Centre start week commencing 29 January whilst classes at the Sugden Centre are on-going throughout the year. Enrolment courses cost from £31 for staff and £26 for students. Pay-as-you-go classes cost from £2.80 staff/£1.80 students. Book early to avoid disappointment.
