In addition, knowing another language opens up opportunities and enables you to function as a bridge between different cultures. Mandarin Chinese is not as hard as you might think, and in fact technology is making it more accessible and much easier to study. 

The Confucius Institute is offering free Mandarin taster sessions during the coming weeks for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels to demonstrate just how effective learning a language from the comfort of your own home can be.

From July onwards, the institute is offering three different online Mandarin courses that have been designed to be taught online using Zoom, allowing Mandarin learners of all levels the opportunity to study safely from home.
