Blackboard downtime – 2am Monday 1 June

Blackboard expected to be down from 2am to 3am on Monday 1 June

An urgent need to conduct some essential maintenance on Blackboard has been identified. It is expected that this work will take one hour to complete and whilst we recognise that Blackboard is heavily relied upon by our students, it is essential that this is carried out as soon as possible to prevent any further issues arising that could have a more significant impact on the system and its availability.

To minimise the impact of this downtime, the work will be conducted at 2am on Monday 1 June, as our data informs us that this is a time when the system tends to be less frequently accessed. Blackboard is expected to be available again from 3am.

We thank you for your patience and co-operation whilst this work is carried out, especially at short notice, to ensure that Blackboard remains a stable platform.
