£75,000 prize fund to be announced at Venture Further Awards 2020

You are invited to join Masood Enterprise Centre’s online event where the winners of the University’s business start-up competition will be announced.

Twenty teams of students with promising ideas made it through to the final round of Venture Further – the University’s annual business start-up competition - and pitched their business proposal to a panel of professionals for a slice of £75,000 prize money. 

We are delighted to invite you to join our annual Venture Further Awards 2020 streamed live online on Wednesday, 10 June and hear first-hand who this year’s winners are. 

We are pleased to welcome Vikas Shah MBE, serial-entrepreneur & philanthropist, and Lynn Sheppard, Director of the Masood Enterprise Centre who will be our hosts for the evening, alongside Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Luke Georghiou and some exciting guest speakers. This event promises to be a wonderful celebration of student innovation and entrepreneurship here at our University. 

Designed to nurture and highlight a wide range of entrepreneurial students and alumni across the University, Venture Further gives budding entrepreneurs the chance to turn their ideas into reality and win significant early-stage funding to start their own business.
