WATCH: Edward Astle reflects on the Making a Difference Awards

Edward Astle, Chair of the University’s Board of Governors has recorded a short message reflecting on the 2020 Making a Difference Awards and the importance of this event for the wider University community

On the evening of the Awards event, which was broadcast live on Facebook, Edward was unfortunately unable to make his closing remarks due to a technical glitch. He has subsequently recorded a short message for all our University community congratulating the amazing winners who have demonstrated incredible commitment to our social responsibility agenda.

He also commented on how, even during lockdown, the Awards have again shown that making a difference is part of our University values.
