All staff invited to take part in weekly Tai chi classes
All staff invited to take part in weekly Tai chi classes via Zoom. The classes will also be recorded.
There are three weekly classes.
Monday, 7.00pm – 8.00pm, Qigong and Meditation. Guided seated and standing meditation along with ‘Dragon and Tiger Qigong’, a relaxing and therapeutic set of ancient Chinese exercises to promote health and wellbeing.
Wednesday, 11.00am – 12.00am, Tai Chi for Health Fundamentals. Selected tai chi based exercises to help participants understand and embody some of the basic foundations of tai chi for health and wellbeing.
Saturday, 10.00am – 11.00am, Wu style tai chi short form. Weekly class offering an opportunity to learn an accessible, safe and effective tai chi short form for health and wellbeing.
These classes are provided by Colin Hughes. The classes are free but attendees are encouraged to make a voluntary £5 donation to charity in lieu of payment for each class.
