Student Engagement team organise online yoga session for our students for Stress Awareness Month, part of our Six Ways to Wellbeing
To promote Stress Awareness Month (April) and to raise awareness of ‘Be Active’ as one of our ‘Six Ways to Wellbeing’, our Student Engagement team got some of our students together for an online yoga and fitness session to try to bring some Zen into their lives at this crazy time!
Rebecca Moynihan in SEED Student Support And Engagement enlisted the help of trained yoga teacher, and Humanities colleague, Dominika Huterova to deliver a remote yoga session on Zoom, in partnership with the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures (SALC).
More than 80 students participated – with some being good sports and keeping their cameras on, meaning we could enjoy seeing everyone in their downward dog!
It was great to see so many students taking the time out of their day to get involved and treat themselves to 30 minutes of self-care.
