Save our UK charities by donating via the Payroll Giving Scheme

Kindness

We know that these are challenging times for all of us, and as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak still continues, many of you may wish to help but don’t know how or where to start. Charities and support workers are reporting that they are under immense pressure, struggling to deliver their vital services to those that are vulnerable and need it the most.

If you want to help them and make a difference, you can make one-off or regular donations to any UK-registered charity that matters to you (including hospitals, schools and churches) through our nationally recognised Payroll Giving Scheme that is supported by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

How to donate

You are able to make a one-off donation or regular donation directly to the charity of your choice through your salary via this link. If you have a CAF Give As You Earn Charity Account and you would like to make a donation, log in here and click on ‘Manage Donations’ and then ‘Make a Donation’. If you don’t have online access, contact us on 03000 123 000 and we’ll get you set up.

26 April 2020

Why not donate for the 2.6 Challenge. This is an amazing initiative to Save the UK’s Charities and CAF is a partner of the campaign. Sunday 26 April would have been the date for the London Marathon, an event which raised over £66 million for charities last year. However, with the cancellation of this and hundreds of other mass participation events, the event organisers and charity sector have come together to create The 2.6 Challenge. On Sunday 26 April, the campaign will ask people to think of an activity based around the number 2.6 or 26 that suits their skills and fundraise or donate to Save the UK’s Charities.

On Sunday you may want to give a one-off £2.60/£26 donation through our Payroll Giving Scheme to the charities you care about or simply donate direct via the 2.6 website. The 2.6 website has loads of ideas and background on the campaign!
