Resolved: Issues with some Blackboard course units
27 Mar 2020
Earlier this week, some course materials in Blackboard were affected by duplicate content, missing content or notification problems.
After extensive investigation, we now believe that the above issues have been resolved, and those staff and students affected can continue to work on Blackboard as normal.
Any course units still experiencing duplicate content are being dealt with by local eLearning teams.
We’re aware that some colleagues moved their teaching to alternative platforms due to the performance issues. While we understand that people want to ensure their students can access materials, we request that colleagues avoid using services which aren’t currently approved by their eLearning teams, as the University will be unable to support them or guarantee that the materials will be available for the appropriate length of time. Please contact your eLearning team for advice.
