Be inspired by our film and encourage our students to get involved

The deadline to submit entries to the annual Social Justice Photography Competition is just around the corner so if you know students who are creative behind the camera, we want to see their work!

Undergraduate students can win up to £400 for raising awareness of a social justice issue that’s important to them. All they need to do is submit a photo and caption to:

They need to do this before Friday, 6 March.

The competition promotes the Social Justice Challenge, an online activity for 2nd year undergraduates, which raises awareness of topics such as homelessness and mental health, through to higher education.

Last year, the competition received a record breaking 6,000 votes. The Grand Prize was awarded to Paul Famutimi-Dickson from the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering for his photo, ‘Shades’.
