UCU week of action against workplace racism

The University and College Union (UCU) is holding a week of action from 10 - 14 February 2020

This is the fifth year that UCU is running the campaign against workplace racism.

The theme for 2020  - “Building an anti-racist environment” – explores the different dimensions of workplace racism and its impact on careers, mental health and wellbeing, and relationships with peers/students. The campaign also addresses the changes that should be made across the sector.

The University of Manchester UCU branch will be hosting a lunchtime public lecture and discussion event at University Place, room 3.204, on Thursday, 13 February from 12:30 – 1:30pm. There will be light refreshments from 12 noon. 

Staff and students are welcome.
