Planned network maintenance overnight

We are carrying out a series of improvement works across University buildings to enhance the network capability across campus. This will mean faster, more reliable network coverage for staff and students.
As part of this extensive piece of work, we will be performing some upgrades overnight, from 11pm on Wednesday 18 December to 5am on Thursday 19 December.
During this time, you may experience temporary losses of connectivity to the Internet and University services.
Our colleagues will be onsite, monitoring our services throughout the work to ensure everything completes as expected.
Similar work will take place in early 2020, outside of the exam period. As soon as we have any dates, we'll publish this information on StaffNet and our other usual communications channels.
